Pay range: USD $26.44 - $33.65 / Hour

The Trading Operations Specialist will utilize various applications for Mutual Fund related activities through broker/dealers, the National Securities Clearing Corporation (NSCC), and multiple other trading platforms. Successful candidate will process requests with a primary emphasis on accuracy. Candidate will have continuous communications with Client Services and other support business partners. 3-5 years brokerage, transfer agent or trust operations experience preferred. Ability to work in a fast paced environment, containing both attentions to detail and outside the box thinking is a must. Candidates must be able to communicate effectively within a team environment.

What you'll do:

The operations specialist will utilize various applications for processing Mutual Fund related activities through broker/dealers and the NSCC. They will be responsible for transferring multiple assets types for both NSCC Direct and Broker/Dealer held securities, monitoring transfer requests (incoming and outgoing), executing movements with proper back-up documents, and other various operations duties as required. This individual will also be responsible for the processing of the daily MFR report where un-claimed shares remain at the Broker/Dealer and need to be investigated for Bank ownership.

What you have

  • Previous asset transfer operations experience in the retirement industry is strongly preferred.
  • Well above average communication skills that include communicating to external clients, management, and business partners.
  • Demonstrated analytical skills that include the ability to research provide accurate backup documentation for the QC'er/ auditors and resolve aging transfer request issues until completion.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Advanced excel skills.

The hours for this position will be 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM Central Time.
