Trading Operations Associate
Pay range: USD $24.04 - $28.85 / Hour

The Specialized Trading Operations Team supports the daily trading activity of Charles Schwab Trust Bank's (CSTB) institutional retirement clients. The team engages in various forms of trading including mutual funds, equities, ETFs, alternative investments, and non-registered securities. The team also engages with fund companies to enter into new trading agreements, amend existing contracts, and maintain the division's security master. In addition, the team is responsible for the coordination and execution of special handling events with fund companies.
As an entry level position on the team, the Trading Operations Associate will be tasked with learning various processes within the team and support the day-to-day trading. An Associate will be responsible for updating and maintaining our Asset Master Database, as well as processing other trading functions as assigned. A successful candidate will work closely with internal and business to business partners to complete daily processes and impactful projects. Over time the associate will have the ability to learn various function across the Specialized Trading Operations team as well engage in projects benefiting the team and department.
