We are looking for a Team Lead who is passionate about using technology to build next generation platform that supports onboarding and maintaining of Customer and Account to join our Brokerage Customer and Account Technology development team. This is an opportunity to participate in building & enhancing a highly complex platform that is still evolving and needs to meet high level of availability, security & regulatory compliance requirements and is a backbone for multiple lines of businesses and applications that help our clients take ownership of their financial futures.

You will be operating in an agile environment, performing complex software design & development tasks and building consensus with your peers & seniors, you will be required to collaborate with business and technology partners, support your team & manager in planning and execution, drive team towards building quality product, mentor less experienced team members towards technical excellence, identify gaps in process and practices and drive improvements, develop architectural diagrams/documents, you will be responsible for highlighting risks & issues in timely manner.

What you have

Required Qualifications:

5-9 years of experience with the following: Java, Spring framework, cloud development, and Web Services (REST) supporting high volume transactions in a Highly Available environment

▪ Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field

▪ 3-5 years experience in unit testing and test automation following industry best practices

▪ 4-5 years of experience in Distributed and Relational Databases; SQL Server, MongoDB, DB2, Oracle

▪ 2+ years' of experience in Cloud deployment in a continuous integration and continuous delivery model (CI/CD)

▪ 2+ years' of experience with continuous build process using Bamboo, Bitbucket/Git, or similar tools

▪ Experience with the Atlassian tool stack (JIRA et alia)

▪ Knowledge of the Agile methodology and experience in an Agile working environment

▪ 3-5 years experience in production rollout, production issue debugging

▪ 2-3 years experience in production monitoring tools like Splunk/App Dynamics etc.

▪ 3-5 years experience in documenting design

▪ 2-3 years experience in API/data security

▪ 2-3 years in messaging and message based applications (rabbitmq, kafka, MQ)

▪ 3-5 years mentoring and coaching experience

Preferred Qualifications:

Ability to work independently and collaborate with all types of stakeholders, both technical and business, peers, and leaders

▪ Ability work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to multiple projects simultaneously

▪ Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills

▪ Ability to quickly grasp complex concepts and learn new technologies

▪ Strong customer focus with a sense of ownership and determination to drive solutions in a collaborative environment

▪ Experience in Financial Services industry is a plus

▪ Experience with Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF) is a plus

▪ Experience in RabbitMQ is a plus

▪ Experience in Test Driven Development (TDD) is a plus
