Job Duties: Execute solutions on high availability, maintainability, support and automaton for complex client trading application platforms. Drive Schwab's reliability strategy forward within the Client Trading Experience Technology department and contribute to building a world class SRE organization focused on automation and availability. Work with Network, System and Storage administrators for routine operations such as performance tuning, upgrades and backup. Work with application teams to understand the framework and architecture of applications and recommend performance monitoring best practices accordingly. Work towards automating repeatable processes and tasks using programming scripts. Work cloud infrastructure security and networking, governance, risk mitigation and automated security remediation. Develop tools and solutions to increase the operational efficiency of the IT Service management process with focus on excellent user experience. Position supervises other employees.

What you have

Job Requirements: Bachelor's in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field and 12 months of experience in a related occupation. Experience must include 12 months involving the following: C#, Java, or another OOP language; REST based APIs, messaging and streaming technologies, and Web services virtualization including mocking and stubbing; Setting up governance models for application monitoring and enhance monitoring/alerting capabilities; Setting up monitors with HCM; Setting up DTE monitors and alerts; and Developing CICD pipelines to test, build, publish artifacts, and deploy applications to PCF using Bamboo, Bitbucket, or GitHub.

We offer competitive pay and benefits. Starting compensation depends on related experience. Annual bonus and other eligible earnings are not included in the ranges above.
