In Schwab Cybersecurity Services (SCS), Office of CISO, we provide platforms, services, and security operations capabilities which enable the firm to produce successful client and shareholder outcomes securely and safely. Securing our IT assets, data, and access to applications is the core of who we are and what we do. We ensure only the appropriate entities have access to IT resources and that we implement proven approaches and standards to ensure a safe and congruent environment is maintained.

The Cybersecurity Product & Portfolio Management (CPPM) organization within SCS has an opportunity for a Business Partner (BP) lead role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supports continuous improvement within the CPPM and BP organizations to mature processes and maintain awareness across the SCS organization on how we work
  • Be able to identify Project Management gaps and influence maturity as needed. May include coaching, CPMO Director alignment, Product Manager & SME alignment conversations; and escalation to CPPM leadership as required.
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders (Product Managers, MD's, Project Managers) at a level that supports the execution against the SCS products and prioritized initiatives. The integrity of the execution requires a deep understanding that enables the Business Partner role to actively drive and manage the outcomes and identification of risks across the portfolio.
  • Provide consistent and executive level reporting support (i.e. health of projects, product and portfolio alignment)
  • Support objectives and outcomes of SCS and facilitates building business cases, right sized plans/governance, workforce planning and various deliverables to support the success of SCS.
  • Understanding of how business case/investments align with the overall roadmap, financials and objectives of the product/organization. Shows up in ability to speak and define in artifacts.
  • Drives organization to define work, right size teams and facilitate workforce requests and workforce planning
  • Support Fixed Capacity Modeling and assist with transparency of our workloads/workforce assignment
  • Ability to be the liaison for the Org Leader, Product Managers and SMEs as needed.
  • BP understands "the work" and able to identify scope changes, OKR risks, and financial risks by working closely with vendor management on contract related matter
  • Drives/play an integral role in the T4T (Tech 4 Tech) process to ensure we drive strong transparency for dependencies across STS teams

  • Ability to present to Sr. leadership in a coherent and logical manner
  • 5+ years of Business Partner experience or similar background
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Project management experience in financial services, cybersecurity experience and / or exposure within the cybersecurity environment is a plus
