Our Opportunity:

The Banking Operations Support Services (BOSS) team provides support for Move Money products (Wires, ACH, Internal Transfers, Checks and Deposits), Bank Deposits and Lending lines of business. BOSS provides services to our business partners so they can help our clients, financial advisors and branch Financial Consultants to fulfill our purpose of championing every client's goal with passion and integrity. We inspire client loyalty by providing guidance and solutions to fulfill client needs and have a focus on employee development and collaboration.

What you'll do:

As a Business Analyst Sr. Manager in Bank Operations Support Services (BOSS) team, you will be required to act as a liaison between our business partners, bank technology, cashiering technology, and the Bank Operations platform team to ensure that business requirements for new products and enhancements are well-documented and transformed into conceptual technical solutions that support business strategies. In this role, you will need to be flexible and able to prioritize work effectively to meet specific deadlines and manage interruptions without risking the overall success of department goals. Relationship building plays an important role in the position to ensure that projects are completed in the most effective and efficient manner. The Business Analyst Manager may be required to write test scripts, create user stories, and conduct end to end testing. Other responsibilities include, but are not limit to:

You will:

  • Represent the leadership team and be the voice of the business on projects, providing deep and timely insight into key issues facing Bank Operations.
  • Exhibit strong initiative, strategic thinking and leadership skills and apply those skills to various projects
  • Facilitate meetings with various groups/individuals and influence individuals across a range of tenures and working styles.
  • Exhibit flexibility and excellent prioritization skills to effectively meet deadlines and manage interruptions without risking the success of department goals. Balancing attention to detail with the bigger picture is essential.
  • Be a self-motivated and results-oriented individual with strong teamwork skills who can make critical decisions that have high impact to the business.
  • Be able to strive in an unstructured work environment where you are defining your targets to make progress on business goals and initiatives.

In addition to the salary, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent business experience.
  • Strong conceptual thinking skills and able to effectively research, pull data, and resolve business issues arising in various operating environments including SQL, Tableau and SharePoint.
  • Positive attitude, enthusiasm, professionalism, integrity and strong work ethic
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to influence, build consensus and integrate complex information.
  • Demonstrated ability to write business requirements, including user stories, use case development and workflow documentation.
  • Ability to document and present procedures for tasks of varying complexity and understand impact of changes on other areas.
  • Strong process management, analytic and problem-solving skills to understand the needs of the business and translate into technical stories that will be used for to improve efficiency of process and/or workflow.
  • Team-oriented, great at problem solving, able to juggle multiple priorities and excel in a dynamic and fast-moving environment.
  • Passion for learning, driving process simplification and respectfully challenging the status quo.
  • Superior judgment and risk analysis skills.
  • Ability to learn new systems/technical terms quickly and apply knowledge to various intake requests.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in the financial services industry, project management or financial services software development
  • Experience in software development methodology (Agile & RUP); Prior working knowledge of JIRA or any related Scrum tools
  • Thorough knowledge of brokerage/financial services industry experience and move money products
