The 1st Line of Defense Risk Management Office (1RMO) partners with business units to implement effective Risk Monitoring and Management practices. The First Line Risk Management Solutions (1RMS) team's role is to accelerate scale through reporting, analytics, and product management. We help our stakeholders make data-driven, risk intelligent decisions by developing business intelligence (BI) reporting that provide actionable insights and maximize business value.

This role is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing business intelligence solutions (analytic reporting and dashboards) using available BI tools. This role is fitting for someone who can act as an end-to-end developer and is a self-starter who can solution stakeholders' needs.

The Senior Manager will:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines, dashboards, and reports to drive business insights.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into effective reporting insights.
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with data governance and integrity policies.
  • Develop and optimize SQL queries and stored procedures for data extraction and transformation.
  • Utilize Python for advanced data processing, automation, and analytics.
  • Implement best practices in data quality, security, and governance, ensuring compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
  • Optimize BI solutions for performance, scalability, and user experience.
  • Work closely with data engineers, analysts, and business users to support data-driven decision-making.

What you have

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in data development, reporting, and analytics.
  • Expertise in SQL (query optimization, stored procedures, and database management).
  • Proficiency in Python for data transformation and automation.
  • Strong experience with Tableau, Power BI, or other BI tools to create interactive dashboards and reports.
  • Knowledge of data governance principles, data quality frameworks, and compliance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
  • Strong analytics and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work in an agile environment and meet evolving requirements/expectations.
