What you'll do:

As a Sr. Specialist, you will have a unique opportunity of defining the service that will be delivered to both the participant and plan sponsor. The Sr. Specialist is expected to be a subject matter expert in retirement plan loan processing and maintenance while providing consultative services to SRPS plan sponsors. Specifically, the position responsibilities include:

  • Work directly with plan sponsors to bring loans current by creating customized actionable plans, including consulting on corrective methodologies.
  • Research loan and payroll history to provide plan sponsors with resolution and accurate data.
  • Effectively communicate with plan sponsors on the day-to-day plan needs (loan specific).
  • Coordinate with internal business partners on participant and client requests to ensure timely completion.
  • Work collaboratively within the organization and share best practices to meet and exceed client needs and expectation.
  • Participate in new plan and merger conversion meetings, assisting with new client onboarding efforts.

What you have

  • 3-5 years of experience in Qualified Retirement Plan Administration, ASPPA designation (QKA, QPA) preferred, but not required.

  • Flexibility and attention to detail, initiative in researching tasks, entrepreneurial spirit, and the ability to meet multiple competing deadlines is vital to success in this position.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with clients and various departments including comfortability presenting to clients and internal departments.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with various departments to ensure that client deliverables are met timely and accurately.
  • Creative thought process with a proven record of continuous process improvement ideas directly impacting the participant and client experience.
  • Ability to exercise good judgment, knowing how and when to call on other resources.
  • Outstanding time management skills, acute attention to detail, including exceptional organizational and analytical skills.
  • College degree or equivalent work experience
