SAM is seeking an experienced investment professional to serve as a Portfolio Manager for our international equity ETFs and index mutual funds.
Key Responsibilities for this role include:
- Efficiently perform portfolio management tasks to meet investment objective for assigned portfolios, including cash management, trade analysis and implementation, rebalancing, and handling client flows.
- Understand and navigate the trade-offs required to track index benchmarks including factors determining appropriate cash levels, corporate actions implementation, security mis-weights, hedging instruments, and optimization techniques.
- Develop and execute strategies to replicate the performance of global market indices, ensuring adherence to investment guidelines and regulatory constraints.
- Monitor risk exposure of portfolios and assess impact or action required. Ability to timely identify and address risk issues in collaboration with other portfolio managers and strategic partners.
- Follow investment and operational processes consistently. Evolve the investment process to drive scale, reduce risk, and improve investment performance.
- Perform performance attribution analysis to evaluate and explain excess returns of portfolios versus respective benchmarks.
What you have
Required qualifications:
- 7+ years of investment management experience
- Bachelor's degree in quantitative filed required
- Strong Excel, Bloomberg, analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred qualifications:
- International equity index portfolio management experience strongly desired
- Aladdin platform experience
- CFA and/or MBA preferred
- Resourceful, proactive, self-motivated with outstanding attention to detail
- Ability to collaborate with other portfolio managers, multi-task, prioritize and navigate a fast-paced environment
In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
