We're looking for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, has strong attention to detail, and understands both the technical and business implications of testing financial products. Exposure to corporate actions is mandatory, and experience working with both mainframe and distributed platforms is highly valued.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for mainframe and modern platforms.
  • Validate end-to-end corporate actions processes with a deep understanding of product types, file structures, and downstream impacts.
  • Collaborate daily with developers, BAs, product owners, and cross-functional teams to ensure quality at every stage of the SDLC.
  • Build strong relationships with teams that have upstream and downstream dependencies, facilitating smooth integration and testing across platforms.
  • Own and manage test planning, execution, and defect triage.
  • Understand job codes, deployment pipelines, and the concept of regions across different environments.
  • Support testing in multiple regions and assist in identifying and resolving environment-related issues.
  • Provide thoughtful feedback and act as a peer-level contributor in technical conversations, not just a downstream checker.

What you have

To ensure that we have fulfilled our promise of 'challenging the status quo,' this role has specific qualifications that successful candidates should have.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 5+ years in QA roles, preferably in financial services or complex batch/real-time processing environments.
  • Hands-on experience with automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, RestAssured, or similar).
  • Strong manual testing skills with the ability to trace issues through systems (logs, files, MQ, database).
  • Experience working on or alongside mainframe systems (JCL, DB2, flat files) as well as modern distributed platforms (Java-based APIs, microservices, cloud deployments).
  • Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, deployment flows, and test region structures.
  • Proven ability to communicate and influence across roles, including developers, product owners, and QA peers.
  • Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience with Corporate Actions systems or financial transaction processing.
  • Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Git, Jenkins, and test management platforms.
  • Understanding of Agile/SAFe methodologies and participation in sprint ceremonies.

In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities
