Duties: Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility program. Develop and maintain QA Automation frameworks, maintain the QA infrastructure to support testing and migration activities, and lead test data management initiatives and coordinate with development and QA team on releases and deployments. Create testing strategies and engineering best practices related to software test engineering, both manual and automated. Manage infrastructure, databases, and test data setup/management for data development teams. Create CI/CD strategy and be a subject matter expert on the tools and process used for CI/CD. Develop and design automation regression and smoke test suite and maintain those scripts. Position allows for partial remote work. Must live within reasonable commuting distance. Reports to company office in Westlake, TX. Subject to Schwab's internal approach to workplace flexibility.

What you have
Job Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, or a related field. Requires progressive, post-bachelor's related experience (6 years w/ Bachelor's or 4 years w/ Master's), which must include some experience in each of the following skills: Develop automation frameworks using Python and Java; Develop CI/CD & DEVOPS automation using GIT, Bitbucket, Jenkins, or Bamboo in GCP or AWS; Define test approaches and testing using Data Warehouse, ETL, and Big Data environments; Create test strategies, engineering best practices, and test both manual and automated data warehouse projects in both On premise and cloud technologies using GCP or AWS; Maintain and support infrastructure and databases for applications in cloud technologies (GCP or AWS) and SQL programming in SQL, Oracle, or Mongo DB; Automation using Selenium Web Driver, Cucumber, and JUNIT; RESTFUL Web services development and service virtualization using PCF and Splunk.
