Treasury's Reporting Team is a Center of Excellence for all deliverables including ALCO, Sub-Committee, Board and Working Group submissions The reporting team must present intricate financial concepts related to market risk, liquidity, capital, and funds transfer pricing in a simplified manner. This includes creating insightful visuals and clear narratives for audiences with varying levels of financial expertise.
Schwab's Treasury organization includes: ALM, fixed income investing and other balance sheet modeling activities. The overall team manages fixed-income investments in several portfolios totaling over $200 billion, with approximately $480 billion in total balance sheet assets and $85 billion in off-balance-sheet brokered deposit agreement notional investments.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Treasury Reporting, you will contribute to a team shaping the transformation of the ALCO and other regulatory and internal reporting as a strategic tool used to optimize bank and broker dealer functions and investing.
You will be instrumental in translating complex data into a clear narrative, as the reporting team endeavors to go beyond the simple presenting of numbers to telling "the story" behind the operations, best equipping senior management to make impactful strategic decisions. You will shape material to the audience, by understanding the level of detail most suited for the meeting attendees and tailoring information for those key stakeholders. The team works to foster a two-way dialogue with subject matter experts in the modification and development of visualizations and qualitative presentations. You will also work closely with the Automation Team to move more standardized reporting to an automated approach.

What you have
Required:
- 5+ years relevant experience with an emphasis on communications, analytics and reporting. Strong preference for banking/financial background with an understanding of finance, accounting and balance sheet management, or financial and regulatory expertise.
- MS Office suite with an emphasis on PowerPoint
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines
- Passion for communication
- A collaborative and resourceful mindset for working with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Suited to a high-pressure environment with tight turnaround timelines
- Strong attention to detail: the ability to make accurate evaluative judgments and ensure compliance with internal and regulatory requirements.
- Bachelor's degree required.
In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
