As a Client Services Specialist, you will interact with clients through phone calls, emails and live chats to support their trading and investments needs. Our team is dedicated to delivering exceptional service across a wide range of areas- including account opening, trading assistance, service inquiries, market-related questions, and client education on Schwab platforms and offerings. What you have
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Client Service, Financial Services and/or Brokerage Services or relevant experience
- Current and active MAS Licensed Representative or successful completion of licensing within 90 days from start date
- U.S. FINRA Series 7 license required OR a condition of employment to successfully obtain license within 180 days
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in both English and Mandarin
Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree in Banking, Finance, or Economics
- Cantonese proficiency preferred
- Strong trading or familiarity of the securities industry with understanding of equities, options and futures
- Excellent time management, efficiency and prioritization skills that maximize productivity
- Ensures accuracy and meticulous attention to detail in every aspect of work
- Fosters strong and productive relationships that serve the team and our clients
- Excellent communicative skills, both oral and written, and can succinctly explain complex topics with proper positioning, context and accuracy
- Demonstrates sound judgement and expertise in addressing highly complex client issues
- Owns client issues from start to finish, ensures timely resolution, shares lessons learned with peers, and establishes clear and realistic client expectations
