The Campus Recruiting team furthers Schwab's strategic vision by building a pipeline of high quality and diverse talent for all lines of business by cultivating strong university partnerships and community relationships.

As a Campus Talent Advisor, you will partner closely with the Campus Specialists and hiring teams to attract, source and assess top talent from our key university partners. You will also execute a strategic recruiting plan specific to campus talent/ early experience and provide an engaging and positive experience for hiring managers and candidates throughout the campus recruitment lifecycle.

Key Outcomes:

Strategic Advisor

  • Learn and understand the strategic priorities and early talent strategy for assigned business groups and develop strong business acumen.
  • Build and maintain key stakeholder relationships throughout the client business groups and with core partner campuses.
  • Understand data trends in the campus recruitment space (i.e. relevant degree programs, early workforce trends, and Schwab's employment brand position) to consult with business leaders & HRBPs.
  • Consult with hiring managers to clearly understand their early talent hiring needs for both interns and fulltime early experience roles and provide insight into how a university recruitment strategy can help execute on their needs.
  • Assist managers in writing accurate and effective job postings for campus talent.
  • Consult with hiring managers to help them make optimal hiring decisions.
  • Work with hiring managers to craft competitive offer packages and seek required approvals.

Pipeline Manager

  • Promote Schwab at job fairs, campus recruiting, and community & diversity events as needed.
  • Pre-screen potential candidates and provide accurate information about the job opportunity, the organization, and the Schwab culture.
  • Deliver a qualified diverse slate of talent for all positions.
  • Negotiate job offers with candidates.

Process Expert

  • Deliver recruiting process excellence by following internal policies and procedures, accurately tracking &/or reporting metrics, and by being compliant with all federal, state and local employment laws.
  • Coach hiring managers and interviewers on effective and legal interviewing practices.
  • Compile interview team feedback after each candidate interview.
  • Maintain up-to-date candidate records.
  • Provide a positive experience for hiring managers and candidates.

What you have

Required Qualifications:

  • 5 years of recruiting experience, with expertise in the Early Talent space.
  • Bachelor's degree.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong background in consultative recruiting along with the ability to influence, gain credibility, and build strong relationships with hiring managers and candidates.
  • Working knowledge of best-in-class practices associated with proactive sourcing, pipeline management, qualifying candidates, networking, talent assessment, market research and job analysis specific to the campus space.
  • Working knowledge of competency-based interviewing and assessment techniques.
  • Ability to manage a workload of multiple requisitions spanning full-time roles and internships across different lines of business.
  • Significant knowledge of the campus recruiting landscape.
  • Experience balancing high volume candidate flow to create an exceptional candidate experience.
  • Established reputation as a high integrity, top performer.
  • Strong relationship-building skills, including cultivating relationships with campus professionals and faculty.
  • Ability to effectively market Schwab as an employer of choice.
  • Proven success proactively recruiting top talent through key partnerships and networking efforts.
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems (iCIMS/Workday).
  • Direct sourcing experience including web/internet market space, including trade journals, academic institutions, alumni associations and other sources of quality candidates.
  • Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
