Duties & Responsibilities

You'll be the operations and strategy engine behind the Hyperspace Challenge Program. Your days will be filled with planning one-of-a-kind events, building relationships across sectors, making data-driven decisions, and bringing bold ideas to life-on time, on budget, and with flair.

  • Lead program design and delivery across multiple initiatives and projects with strategic insight and operational excellence.
  • Design monthly webinars and community-centered design workshops, education opportunities and summits-each one unique and crafted to meet audience needs with creativity and relevance.
  • Take initiative and ownership, navigating ambiguity with a steady hand and a flexible mindset.
  • Serve as primary liaison with local, state, and national stakeholders. You're not just networking-you're speed-networking with purpose.
  • Build and execute communications and outreach plans that get people talking-and showing up.
  • Track progress, manage budgets, and ensure alignment with stakeholder goals using your top-tier PM skills.
  • Innovate constantly. Every program and event should feel tailor-made.
  • Collaborate with instructors, external contractors, internal teams, and community leaders to co-create programs that make an impact.
  • Design deliverables using a human-centered approach.
  • Measure success, report results, and adapt programs based on real-time feedback and metrics.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's Degree and five (5) years of experience related to the duties and responsibilities.

Preferences:

You're not afraid to launch big ideas. You think systemically and act intentionally. You love building relationships, and you bring structure to complexity without losing creativity.

  • You've got solid experience in program or project management, especially in the realms of government, tech, education, or startups.
  • You understand space technology-or at least you're excited to learn fast and work with those who do.
  • You bring a human-centered, community-driven approach to everything you lead.
  • You've got the entrepreneurial mindset: initiative, flexibility, hustle, and optimism.
  • You're a natural event architect-from webinars to summits, every experience you create stands out.
  • You know how to manage budgets, build partnerships, and communicate with diverse audiences.
  • You're comfortable wearing many hats-and even designing a few yourself.
