Position Summary
Provides non-instructional technical support for instructional laboratories.
Duties & Responsibilities

• Prepares and issues Instructional materials, supplies and equipment.
• Provides faculty with non-instructional assistance during laboratory sessions.
• Maintains organization and storage of all materials, supplies and equipment in stock room and laboratories.
• Assists with chemical hygiene, waste disposal and laboratory safety programs.
• Assists faculty in maintaining student laboratory safety compliance.
• Supervises student employees.
• Transfers equipment between campuses.
• Performs other related duties of a similar nature and level as assigned.
• Employees are required to comply with safety regulations, procedures, protocols, OSHA standards, and wear personal protective gear if required.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Completion of post-secondary coursework in chemistry or equivalent and one (1) year of directly related higher education or commercial chemistry laboratory experience.

Preferences:

• 1 year of experience with scheduling
• 1 year of experience with digital Inventory management systems

This position requires regular travel between all CNM campuses and is eligible for mileage reimbursement.

Ability to regularly work standard business schedule, Monday-Friday 8:00-5:00pm. Position is full-time, in-person/non-remote, 40 hr./week.
