Position Summary
Under direct supervision of the Quality Assurance Manager, the LMS Support Technician receives communication and information from all faculty related to CNM's learning management system. Provides basic trouble shooting support and refers faculty to tools and/or resources to help resolve technical issues. Works collaboratively with Information Technology Services and Design and Curriculum Development to provide support.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provides online learning support and basic troubleshooting to faculty, staff, and students.
- Creates development course shells and completes course copy requests.
- Responds to incoming service requests through ticketing platform.
- Maintains knowledge of LMS tools and resources.
- Assists LXD (Learning Experience Designers) with trouble shooting multimedia components.
- Works closely with Information Technology Services to provide training, support, and service.
- Represent department at assigned meetings as needed.
- Provides reports to CNM Leadership.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
- High School diploma and two (2) years experience that is directly related to technology support and customer service.
Preferences:
- Three (3) years or more experience related to online higher education learning.
- Previous experience working with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Previous experience working in customer support.
- Previous experience using Microsoft applications.
- Previous experience working at a community college.
