Position Summary
With support, oversees the daily operations of team within Enrollment Services. May specialize in the following types of student services: registration, admissions, records or graduation and transfer.
Duties & Responsibilities

  • Oversee staff to include: prioritizing and assigning work; conduct performance evaluations; ensure staff is trained; ensure employees follow policies and procedures; maintain a healthy and safe working environment; and, making hiring, termination, and disciplinary recommendations.
  • Direct the activities of the department, which includes planning, coordinating, administering, and evaluating projects, processes, standards, and service offerings; ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws, regulations, codes, and standards.
  • Participate in development of policies, goals, short-and long-range planning; develop and implement programs to support accomplishment of established goals.
  • Interpret and enforce academic rules and regulations; monitor academic standing; coordinate probation, suspension, and dean's lists.
  • Coordinate processes, serves as a technical resource, trainer, and informational resource regarding enrollment services.
  • Must work collaboratively to promote student success.
  • Work with students and intervene to resolve escalated matters.
  • May communicate materials, web page and orientation content, and other enrollment-related documents.
  • Participate in institutional committees and quality improvement processes and will provide leadership to assigned staff to ensure compliance with federal and college requirements.
  • May coordinates the grade petition process, responses to inquiries concerning academic performance, and resolves problems regarding the monitoring of student records.
  • Interpret and monitor academic rules and regulations; monitor operations for data integrity.
  • May manages grade and transcript processing; coordinate academic information for graduation clearance; provide special program certifications.
  • Compile statistical information and prepare reports.
  • Oversee and helps enter course data into computer system, editing and revising data; notify students of outcomes.
  • Update relevant publications, for example: course schedules, bulletins, and student handbooks; oversee the production and distribution of publications.
  • Review student appeal documents and can approve or deny student requests.
  • Ability to use independent judgment and evaluate holds on student accounts.
  • Perform other related similar responsibilities and level as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field with three (3) years of recent and directly related experience
  • OR
  • Associate's Degree in a related field with five (5) years of recent and directly related experience
  • AND
  • One year of experience with ERP/SIS systems such as Banner
  • One year of supervisory experience.

  • Shift Monday-Thursday 10 am-7 pm, Friday 8 am-5 pm

  • 1 year of Admission and Registration experience
