Position Summary
Under the direction of the Manager of IT Security Operations, the Datacenter Security Administrator plays a pivotal role in safeguarding CNM's critical infrastructure and sensitive data housed within our datacenter facilities. The Datacenter Security Administrator position is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust security measures to ensure the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of our datacenter assets. As the technical leader, the Datacenter Security Administrator provides guidance on Cybersecurity projects, procedures, daily activities, on-call activities, team interactions, scheduling, and documentation.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Architects and implements end-to-end security solutions for datacenter environments, considering the unique requirements and challenges of a dynamic infrastructure.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to seamlessly integrate security measures into the datacenter architecture.
- Conducts regular risk assessments to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities within the datacenter ecosystem.
- Implements proactive measures to mitigate identified risks and vulnerabilities, ensuring a resilient security posture.
- Leads the development and execution of incident response plans, coordinating efforts to rapidly identify and contain security incidents.
- Conducts thorough digital forensics investigations to determine the scope, impact, and root cause of security breaches.
- Formulates, updates, and enforces datacenter security policies, ensuring alignment with industry standards and compliance requirements.
- Stays informed about evolving compliance regulations and adjusts security policies accordingly.
- Manages access controls and identity management systems for datacenter resources, ensuring only authorized personnel have appropriate access.
- Regularly reviews and updates access permissions based on organizational changes and security requirements.
- Implements and manages advanced security monitoring tools to detect and respond to security incidents in real-time.
- Stays abreast of the latest threat intelligence and integrates relevant information into security operations.
- Develops and delivers comprehensive security awareness programs for datacenter staff, promoting a culture of security consciousness.
- Provides training on security best practices and protocols to enhance the overall security posture.
- Collaborates with IT teams, system administrators, and other stakeholders to ensure security measures align with business goals and operational needs.
- Communicates security risks, incidents, and strategies effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proactively identifies areas for improvement in security processes and technologies within the datacenter environment.
- Evaluates and recommends emerging technologies to enhance datacenter security capabilities.
- Maintains accurate and up-to-date documentation of security policies, procedures, and incident response plans.
- Generates regular reports on security metrics, incidents, and compliance status for management review.
- Provides direction, mentoring, technical advice, and guidance to various IT groups and external stakeholders.
- Responds to zero-day exploits and critical vulnerabilities and exploits (CVEs).
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Eight (8) years of experience in information technology, with a focus on cybersecurity
- Degrees in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field are preferred
- A combination of education and experience may be substituted for requirements of the position
Preferences:
- Demonstrated expertise in managing and configuring firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint detection and response (EDR).
- Industry-recognized certifications such as CISSP, CISM, GIAC, CompTIA Security+, CEH, or CISCO Cyber Ops
