Position Summary
Under the direct supervision of the Manager of Enterprise Applications, this position provides support to a regularly expanding number of applications. The position ensures the ability of multiple departments to collect and access data necessary for the seamless running of Central New Mexico Community College applications. Ensures the team is following documented procedures to ensure the integrity of all applications.
Duties & Responsibilities

  • Effectively manages applications for the support of instructional and administrative staff on a regular basis.
  • Maintains current knowledge of; configuration, security management, backup and recovery, disaster recovery, business continuity, auditing and quality and performance management; project management principles and practices that may be related to enterprise-wide systems and/or application upgrades or implementation within a department, data gathering and analysis techniques, applications design and planning principles, developing specifications and analysis of pre-packaged automated business systems, and public institution procurement procedures, regulations and standards.
  • Responsible for ongoing administration and supports of various software and applications in a moderately complex production environment.
  • Works closely with students, faculty, and team members to understand fairly complex requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions.
  • Develops and delivers presentations, writes reports, works with contractors and vendors, resolves problems and develop solutions, and oversees projects.
  • Develops moderately complex application requirements based on requirements from end users and technical requirements.
  • Translates broad project scope requests and business goals into detailed work plan with tasks, accountabilities, dependencies, milestones and deadlines; and may monitor project plans to ensure progress.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field and three (3) years of related experience.
  • OR
  • Associate's Degree in a related field and five (5) years of related experience.
  • OR
  • Eight (8) years of related experience.

Preferences:

  • Experience and/or certifications with learning management systems, IT Service Management applications, or reporting applications such as ServiceNow, Brightspace, Argos, or SAS

Must be a current resident of New Mexico or able to relocate. This position is hybrid and may include both in-person and remote work expectations.
