What you will be doing

The Facilities Maintenance Coordinator supports the Facilities and Office Services Department at the Cencora Campus. The Coordinator performs various duties to include space planning and move management, facilities maintenance, vendor management, and office reconfiguration.

  • Coordinate with the hiring manager to ensure onboarding (new hire) work order is submitted to the IT Department so that the badging ticket is created and fulfilled.
  • Perform move preparation and coordination for small size moves. These activities may include review of the move request submitted through the company proprietary associate support work order system, update move requirements as necessary, submit IT work order for support, provide move crates and issue keys to personnel that are moving.
  • Perform badge and access control tasks such as issuing and disabling badges, changing access control levels and coordinating hardware and software changes with the vendor.
  • Assist with preventative maintenance walk throughs for the building and compile and maintain a prioritized list of recommended upgrades and general maintenance repairs.
  • Coordinate and oversee vendor restocking of breakroom coffee and supplies. Vendor management of janitorial services and plant care.
  • Use building systems to adjust room lighting and temperature. Or coordinate with property management.
  • Perform furniture repairs and furniture replacement.
  • Perform key management for base building doors and other doors.
  • Change out lighting motion sensors.
  • Assist with implementation of restack and remodels. This typically includes performing coordination with the IT department, security department and janitorial staff.
  • Support emergency preparedness events and coordinate with emergency services during an actual event.
  • Maintain and promotes positive and professional working relationships with associates, teammates and management.
  • Comply with all policies, procedures safety rules and regulations.
  • Perform related duties as assigned.

What your background should look like

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Requires a minimum of 2 years of experience.
  • Completion of a 2-year associate degree or trade school certificate preferred.
  • IFMA or BOMI credentials a plus.

MINIMUM SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Some knowledge of standard practices and procedures of construction trades such as plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, painting and mechanical systems, including materials and tools; applicable code requirements; methods and practices followed in the maintenance of tools, machinery, and equipment; safety precautions to be observed in the maintenance and installation of electronic and mechanical equipment.
  • Must be able to perform physical activities such as bending, standing, climbing or walking.
  • Must be able to safely use manual tools and power equipment common in Building Maintenance, must be able to understand the need for Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when necessary, to perform a specific function safely.
  • Ability to operate and use a broad spectrum of tools and equipment skillfully and safely perform heavy physical labor; follow and give oral and written instructions; maintain cooperative working relationships; demonstrate sensitivity to, and respect for a diverse customer base.
  • Ability to multitask and meet time sensitive deadlines.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, MS Teams and SharePoint is required.

Sedentary physical activity requiring reaching, sifting, lifting, finger dexterity, grasping, feeling, repetitive motions, talking and hearing. Ability to lift 50 lbs. of materials. Visual requirement is for close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and ability to adjust focus. 50% or more time is spent looking directly at a computer. Associate is frequently required to stand, walk (or otherwise be mobile). Ability to deal with stressful situations as they arise.
