What you will be doing

POSITION SUMMARY:

Under the general direction of the Manager - IT Product lead, provides delivery and support of Digital Signage and Video Management platforms that enable and empower the Digital Communications; provides technical expertise and performs analysis, configuration, implementation, testing, support, and system administration of the same.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Coordinate design, implementation, testing and operation of the following;

Digital Signage technologies

Video management technologies

Support the functional requirements of Digital Signage and Video Management technologies at Cencora including:

Perform analysis, configuration, implementation, testing and administration of Digital Signage players, content manager web, sign templates content flows, video content and media services portal.

Work with internal stakeholders to understand and assist in identifying system solutions or new functionality to address business requirements.

Enable the system to capture the right set of analytics showcasing activity and engagement across the platform.

Support technical requirements of Digital Signage and Video Management technologies at Cencora including:

Provide support in monitoring, user account management, tuning, and security of all aspects within the technologies.

Perform upgrades or enhancements and ensure all software components stay on compatible and current releases per vendor's release strategy.

Work with internal and external teams to determine most appropriate option for;

Access control and single sign-on.

Design of workflows or business processes to enable automation in content delivery.

Integrations with other internal applications as necessary.

Works closely with cross-functional teams to discuss progress of work, resolve technical issues and ensure that standards for quality and quantity of work are met. Consults regularly with vendors to resolve issues impacting digital signage players, content manager web, signage templates, content flows, video players, video content and the media services portal. Evaluates new software to determine usefulness and compatibility with existing applications; makes necessary recommendations. Ensures that all related documentation is current and accurate and ensures personal compliance to appropriate standards and established guidelines. Performs related duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Requires some training in fields such as business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four year Bachelor's Degree program, technical vocational training, or equivalent combination of experience and education. Normally requires a minimum of eight (8) years directly related and progressively responsible experience.

MINIMUM SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field. 2+ years of professional experience in a System analyst or IT System administrator role. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to evaluate business problems and apply application knowledge to identify appropriate solutions. Good understanding of programming languages. Knowledge of databases and SQL queries. Good interpersonal skills. Strong customer service skills. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Ability to prioritize workload and consistently meet deadlines. Technical and administrative experience with Digital Signage (Poppulo/Fourwinds) and Video Management technologies (Kaltura, Vimeo, Panapto etc.) added advantage to this role.

Associate is frequently required to stand, walk (or otherwise be mobile). Ability to deal with stressful situations as they arise.
