The Role:
As a Platform Engineer at Celonis Symbio BPM team, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud-based infrastructure. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless deployment, scalability, and reliability of our applications. Leveraging your expertise in Azure technologies, Kubernetes, and containerization, you will contribute to the optimization of our development and deployment pipelines.
The work you’ll do:
- Design, implement, and maintain cloud-based infrastructure on Azure Cloud platform.
- Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Azure Pipelines and Azure DevOps for efficient software delivery.
- Implement and manage Kubernetes clusters for container orchestration and deployment.
- Build and maintain Docker containers for application deployment and scalability.
- Utilize Azure Durable Functions (C#) to create scalable and reliable serverless workflows.
- Ensure security, availability, and performance of Azure network infrastructure.
- Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
The qualifications you need:
- University degree in Computer Science or equivalent knowledge
- Fluent in English, German would be beneficial
- Proven experience working with Azure Cloud platform, Azure Pipelines, and Azure DevOps.
- Proficiency in Kubernetes and Docker containerization technologies.
- Hands-on experience with Azure Durable Functions, preferably using C#.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts and experience in configuring Azure Network.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages such as PowerShell.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like BICEP templates.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
