The Role
Key Responsibilities:
Sr. Software Engineers for Chicago, IL location. Analyze, develop and test software applications. Code software applications using Java technologies. Create and execute unit test plans. Develop technical analysis and design specifications based on functional requirements. Research technical solutions to business problems. Participate in functional and technical specification discussions. Participate in creating and executing integration level test plans. Support post deployment and defect fixing. Technical Environment: Java, J2EE, JBOSS, SQL, HTML, CSS, AJAX, Spring, Hibernate; Drools; Rest/SOAP API; Enterprise applications and web services in Open-Source Framework; building UI Portal and application using Javascript frameworks (Vuejs, React, Angular); Databases (Oracle SQL, NoSQL (Dynamo, Mongo)); computer science concepts: algorithms, data structures; unit testing using Junit; Unix/Linux; backend systems and web-based applications; JMS components ActiveMQ/RabbitMQ/Kafka); WebLogic/JBoss application servers using CI/CD model; Distributed computing solutions and distributed version control system (Git/SVN); Maven; Hudson/Jenkins; Test Driven Development (TDD); cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google); Agile.

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Information Systems/Technology or Computer Engineering or any Engineering field plus 2 years of experience as a Software Engineer or with software development required. Required Skills: software development experience with Java, J2EE, SQL, HTML, CSS, AJAX, Spring; Rest/SOAP API; building UI Portal and application using Javascript frameworks (Vuejs or React or Angular); Oracle SQL, NoSQL (Dynamo or Mongo) DBs; algorithms, data structures; unit testing using Junit; Unix/Linux; backend systems and web-based applications; JMS components ActiveMQ/RabbitMQ/Kafka); WebLogic/Jboss application servers using CI/CD model; Distributed computing solutions & distributed version control system (Git/SVN); Maven; Hudson/Jenkins; TDD; cloud technologies (AWS or Azure or Google); Agile.
