As a Software Engineer Intern in Functional Automation Testing, your role involves developing and implementing automated test scripts and frameworks to ensure the functional correctness and reliability of our software applications. Collaborate with experienced engineers, contribute to designing and executing functional test suites integrated into our CI pipeline. Build and maintain test frameworks, create real-time and post-test dashboards, and explore opportunities like a quality gate platform for Continuous Functional Testing. Key Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
• As a Test Automation Engineer Intern, work independently to develop and enhance test suites for functional automation, contributing to the creation of robust automation frameworks.
• Utilize tools such as Selenium, Appium, JUnit, Jenkins, and Git for refining and rewriting existing automation solutions.
• Author and review High-Level Design and Low-Level Design documents for the automation platform.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts for functional testing, ensuring the reliability and correctness of software applications.
• Contribute to the design and execution of automated tests covering functional, regression, and integration testing.
• Bring creative ideas to enhance our agile-based development and testing methodologies.
Requirements:
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree with coursework in software development and debugging using languages such as Java, C++, Python, or other high-level programming languages.
• Excellent written communication skills.
• Direct experience in creating automated test scripts using tools like Selenium/TesNG/PyTest.
Other Beneficial Skills:
• Hands-on experience in building Continuous Integration (CI) Pipelines, integrating tools like Jenkins, Git, or other CI tools.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure, and containerization technologies like Docker.
