$210,909.00 - $285,000.00

The Role
CCC Intelligent Solutions is seeking a visionary and strategic leader of Cloud Architecture to drive the strategic alignment and optimization of CCC's cloud infrastructure and operations. This senior leader will play a pivotal role in solidifying CCC's transition from a product-based company to a unified platform organization.
As CCC continues its transformation, this role will play a crucial part in unifying and optimizing cloud architecture, collaborating with development teams, and driving cloud design that enhances efficiency and scalability. The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of cloud-native solutions, broad technical expertise, an enterprise-wide perspective, and the ability to influence at all levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide enterprise cloud design and architecture leadership, guiding development, operations, and IT Operations of cloud standards, best practices, optimization, and operations to help oversee the company's cloud computing strategy. ensuring that it aligns with its business goals and is scalable, secure, and cost-effective
- Work closely with development, delivery, IT Operations, and security to implement architectural enhancements, process optimizations, and technology enhancements to better utilize and adopt cloud native infrastructure.
- Identify the top cloud architecture solutions to satisfy the company's strategic needs by working on cloud migration, implementation, and optimization operations.
- Plan, design, deploy, and manage various cloud-related solutions.
- Respond to technical concerns in a timely and competent manner.
- Evaluate and guide technology decisions across multiple tech stacks, including .NET, Java, Azure, AWS, GCP, databases, and emerging platforms.
- Act as a key strategic partner to executive leadership, translating complex business requirements into cloud infrastructure and operations strategies that promote scalability, interoperability, efficiencies, and security.
- Ensure architectural consistency and risk management across platforms, applications, data, and infrastructure.
- Support CCC's IT transformation efforts, ensuring long-term stability, efficiency, operability, and security.
- Operate within a matrixed organization, influencing teams without direct reports while ensuring a unified cloud architectural strategy.
- Develop best practices for cross-functional collaboration, fostering alignment between IT, delivery, and engineering teams.
Requirements:
- 15+ years of experience in cloud architecture, software development, or IT leadership roles.
- Expertise in cloud computing technology and current trends in computing.
- Proven track record in developing and applying cloud solutions, with deep experience across Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and other major cloud computing services.
- Strong multi-tech stack expertise (.NET, Java, databases, GCP, etc.), understanding design dependencies, operations and optimization.
- Ability to think strategically while implementing practical solutions to enhance CCC's platform ecosystem.
- Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to influence at the C-suite level and align teams across functions.
- Experience working in large-scale SaaS companies providing services in high-scale and highly transactional systems.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative and strategic mindset.
