The Role

This position is responsible for the development, implementation, performance, integrity, and security of applications. The Power Platform Developer will also be involved in the planning and development of applications/solutions, as well as troubleshooting any issues on behalf of end users. While also ensuring user experience remains consistent across applications and in a form that suits the needs of end users. This position will also be responsible for data security and recovery, ensuring all data is retrievable in an emergency.

We are open to this role being 100% virtual for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for developing PowerApps canvas and model driven apps
  • Re-write and re-engineer custom legacy applications to PowerApps solutions
  • Build Enterprise-level mobile solutions, utilizing best practices within Power Platform Community
  • Integrate Microsoft Flow/Power Automate into SharePoint
  • Create/maintain workflows to other database sources (i.e. SharePoint and Salesforce)
  • Analyze and troubleshoot query performance and take corrective actions to solve issues in real time, providing problem resolution end-to-end
  • Develop database objects, data dictionary and ensure the quality and integrity of the databases
  • Create, test, and debug complex T-SQL scripts, stored procedures, functions, and triggers to support application development
  • Identify, develop, and deploy reports in Power BI
  • Develop security procedures to protect data from unauthorized usage, create best practices for application access and permissions
  • Gather and document user requirements and identify new features; translate business/user requirements into application design. Documentation will require a great level of detail so that other staff members may follow along, even with little technical background
  • Ability to produce complex reports using Power BI
  • Integrate Power BI Reports and dashboards into PowerApps
  • Integration of PowerApps and Power Automate

Requirements:

  • College degree preferred or equivalent work experience
  • 4-5 years prior experience in software development and/or data analysis
  • Knowledge of MS Power Platform, PowerApps, Power Automate, SharePoint and Power BI
  • Advanced knowledge of Transact-SQL and MS SQL Server Management Studio
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Self-motivated
