Job Purpose and Impact
The Trade Execution Senior Supervisor will set objectives and deliverables for trade execution activities of a team, for a location or multiple locations and will supervise activities, including customer interaction, compliance, documentation management and shipment execution. In this role, you will provide guidance and direction to strategy development and implement and sustain process improvement initiatives. You will conduct moderately complex activities to ensure import and export trade executions process in a timely manner.
Key Accountabilities
- Supervise trade execution activities related to export and import processes, to guarantee the execution.
- Ensure purchase and sales contracts are executable and aligned with approved process and policies and coordinate and ensure they meet import or export licenses, permits, documentary instructions, governmental requirements and any other document or certificate.
- Oversee the development, implementation and maintenance of process improvements to enhance performance, reduce execution costs and increase efficiencies.
- Analyze and implement market trends for the export and import procedures and use them to promote quality of the execution and share with the team and colleagues as appropriate.
- Build and maintain relationships with strategic stakeholders internally and externally and leverage client interactions and business partnerships to ensure the execution of the related activities and processes.
- Lead and develop a team, coach and make decisions related to talent management, hiring, performance, and disciplinary actions.

Qualifications
Minimum:
- Advanced English language proficiency (spoken and written).
- 3 to 4 years of experience leading multidisciplinary work teams.
- Complete studies in Production Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, or related fields.
- Solid knowledge of commercial contracts.
- Experience reviewing complex purchase and sale contracts.
- Advanced command of import and export processes.
- Advanced experience in GAFTA/FOSFA y NAEGA2
- Experience analyzing contracts within commercial processes.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with sales, legal, logistics, and other key departments.
Preferred
- Knowledge of Portuguese.
- Completed or ongoing master's degree
