This position is in Cargill's food and bioindustrial business, where manufacturers, retailers, and foodservice companies rely on us to consistently deliver the products and services they need, and use our technical expertise and market knowledge to develop innovative products.
Job Purpose and Impact
The Process Expert Refinery applies engineering techniques to assist in the improvement of manufacturing processes and products. In this role, you will provide technical support and troubleshooting, operations experience, variable cost analyses and continuous improvement, knowledge sharing and project management skills in a plant support capacity that ensures safe, efficient and low-cost plant operations.
Key Accountabilities
- Review and recommend manufacturing equipment and processes designed to be efficient, cost-effective, and to promote quality and reliability.
- Assesses current manufacturing equipment and processes and makes recommendations for changes.
- Lead process troubleshooting and provide process expertise support in unexpected cases with EHS impact.
- Show results in reports.
- Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
- Provide process and projects related trainings for operational crew.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Possesses working knowledge of engineering subject matter
- Minimum of two years of related work experience
- Capability to transfer practical knowledge and observations of operators into required documents
- Capability to transfer regional/global manufacturing teams, engineering teams, M&R, FSQR, R&D knowledge to operators and embedding it to the processes
- Capability and good will to share knowledge to colleagues in term of trainings, guiding books, other
- Other minimum qualifications may apply
Preferred Qualifications
- Lean Certification
- Six Sigma Green Belt Certification
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong data analysis capabilities including continuous improvement experience or certifications
- Understanding of PI (data historian), ACAD (auto CAD), MS Project
