Job Purpose and Impact
The Energy Contract Management Specialist will be responsible for the coordination of contract management activities for internal and external customers to ensure consistency with commercial terms. In this role, you will support process implementations and governance across contracts, pricing, contracted volume and futures, assist with complex price builds for top customers and handle master data stewardship, contract settlement and daily communications with commercial teams, internal stakeholders, external vendors and customers.

Key Accountabilities
- Validate supplier invoices and build and maintain monthly files to issue timely customer invoices.
- Calculate and handle contract pricing requests based on customer supply agreements and spot market prices and enter quotes and opportunities into the database.
- Execute the new customer set up processes and maintain customer master data to ensure accurate and timely invoicing to customers.
- Perform monthly back-to-back reconciliation to resolve unclear points in the contracts and coordinate with the suppliers and commercial teams to find solutions.
- Handle the settlement of all contracts including any reconciliation for customer account statements necessary to support both internal and external customers.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders such as record-to-report and trade product control to monitor and manage vendor and customer communications.
- Actively identify improvement opportunities and develop solutions including utilizing the root cause analysis process.
- Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience representing the business from a commercial perspective to customers.
- Minimum requirement of 2 years of relevant work experience.
- Experience with energy markets and or finance.
Position Information
- Relocation assistance will not be provided for this position.
- Minimum travel is required to cover the area of responsibility.
- This position is hybrid and requires to be on site based on business need.
- This position is located in Wayzata, MN.
- Minnesota Sick and Safe Leave accruals of one hour for every 30 worked, up to 48 hours per calendar year unless otherwise provided by law.
- The expected salary for this position is $69,000 - $119,000. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific location, certifications, education, and level of experience. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.
