Associate Application Specialist - Frying Oil Solution

Job Purpose and Impact
The Associate Application Specialist will assist senior team members with technical solutions and support interactions with clients and prospective customers, to help them understand how the company can provide solutions for them and improve profitability. In this role, you will assist to ensure new technologies and tools are utilized to provide competitive customer focused solutions.
Key Accountabilities
- Partner with business development team to grow frying oil solution business for QSR
- Act as customer facing technical support to strategic customers for assigned markets (SEA & ANZ)
- Accountable for on time delivery of customer projects for industrial frying & QSR with timely project update in system
- Conduct store visits and technical training to strategic customers on frying oil management
- Create post-visit reports and analyze oil usage to identify opportunities for optimizing oil quality and cost-effectiveness
- Partner with internal quality team on audit compliance, product documentation and complaint case troubleshooting
- Collaborate with regional frying oil solution team for cross region insight sharing
- Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science & Technology, or related fields
- Other minimum qualifications may apply
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 7 years of related work experience in frying oil related R&D or application roles
- Excellent verbal, presentation and written communication skills.
- Ability to organize multiple priorities on dynamic schedule
- Ambitious, skilled in work planning and execution, seeking self-development and improvement
- Culinary experience is beneficial
