Job Purpose and Impact
The Senior Credit Risk Analyst monitor credit risk for corporates, banks, farmers and sovereigns for the trade and capital market business in the region by developing a holistic view of risks on counterparties and products as well as focused and timely execution. In this role, you will provide both business and fiduciary insights into the business risks for the trade and capital markets in the region. #LI-AM4 #LI-Hybrid
Key Accountabilities
- Conduct financial statement analysis of counterparties including cashflow forecasting, ensuring high quality and unbiased credit reviews, assigning ratings through qualitative and quantitative analysis and provide clearly argued conclusions and limit recommendations.
- Ability to cover various industries and geographies as well as willingness to acquire necessary industry insights and knowledge independently.
- Monitor counterparties and anticipate the potential impact of market events on business the environment for specific counterparties or portfolios.
- Partner with origination to ensure high quality of due diligence on counterparties, provide feedback on potential business opportunities and respond to queries from internal stakeholders.
- Partner with structuring to develop a deep understanding of trade and capital markets structures and provide objective risk related inputs on products as well as recommend opportunities for risk mitigation and loss prevention.
- Maintain close communication with transaction management to ensure adequate implementation of risk mitigation and ensure accurate reporting of exposures within approved limits.
- Communicate with external counterparties including trade and capital markets clients, participation in ad-hoc projects and actively look for ideas to improve existing processes and methodologies.
- You will work under minimal supervision and independently handle complex issues while referring only the most complex issues to higher-level staff.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience, master's degree is as plus
- Senior experience including in the high yield space in the financial services industry with international exposure
- Mandatory Advanced English Skills
- Bank / Sovereign Analysis experience
- Project Finance experience
- Workout / Management of problem exposures experience
- Demonstrate strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Ability to travel
