This position is in Cargill's food and bioindustrial business, where manufacturers, retailers, and foodservice companies rely on us to consistently deliver the products and services they need, and use our technical expertise and market knowledge to develop innovative products.

Job Purpose and Impact

The Sales Account Representative, will provide basic knowledge to assist and develop customer sales strategies and build relationships based on the company's values. In this role, you will help identify prospective customers and build relationships and develop the ability to assess customer needs to suggest appropriate products, services and solutions that maximize product revenue and improve profitability.

Key Accountabilities

  • Build customer partner relationships to sell products, provide quotes and product pricing within pricing function guidelines.
  • Assist in the development of customer sales strategies to meet customer goals and objectives.
  • Help process customer orders and manage overall order fill rate and on time delivery service.
  • Gather and communicate channel, market, customer or competitive information and intelligence and collaborate with the team on strategy and pricing functions.
  • Partner with the team to manage contracts and risk with pricing and trade promotions teams to coordinate and resolve claims and disputes.
  • Handle basic issues and problems under direct supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Fluent English is a must
  • Any European language is an advantage.
