Job Description

CapTech is seeking an experienced Lead Quality Assurance Tester with a focus on Accessibility to join our innovative consulting team. In this critical role, you'll be responsible for driving digital accessibility excellence across client engagements, ensuring web and mobile applications meet the highest standards of inclusivity and compliance.

• Develop comprehensive testing strategies 
• Create and implement test plans, test cases, and test scripts 
• Define testing goals and criteria with business analysts and development teams
• Execute functional, regression, integration, and accessibility-focused tests 
• Create and maintain automated tests using accessibility testing frameworks 
• Conduct in-depth manual and automated accessibility audits 
• Analyze test results and resolve software defects
• Recommend and implement QA best practices 
• Document test procedures and accessibility guidelines 
• Ensure compliance with WCAG 2.2 standards
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and UX/UI designers
• Mentor junior team members on testing methodologies, including accessibility
• Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions 
• Lead QA efforts, ensuring accessibility and quality standards are met
• Integrate accessibility testing into CI/CD pipelines 
• Monitor and maintain accessibility and quality metrics

Qualifications

 

  • 5+ years of QA testing experience, with 2+ years in accessibility testing
  • Experience leading enterprise-wide QA testing software implementations
  • Deep understanding of WCAG 2.2 guidelines
  • Azure DevOps for test management and continuous integration
  • Proficiency in test automation frameworks
  • Experience with accessibility testing tools (NVDA, JAWS) 
  • Expertise in web and mobile accessibility testing methodologies
  • Hands-on involvement in designing test strategies

CapTech supports Equal Pay for all. In addition, in the State of Colorado, we are committed to Equal Pay for ALL in accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act. The base pay range for this role is: $80.00-$90.00/hr
