Principal Associate - full stack Development

We're looking for a Principal Associate - Full Stack Software Engineer to join the Machine Learning Experience (MLX) team!
The MLX team is at the forefront of how Capital One builds and deploys responsible ML models and features; we onboard and educate associates on the ML platforms and products that the whole company uses; we drive new innovation and research; and we're working to seamlessly infuse ML into the fabric of the company. The full ML experience we're creating will enable our lines of business to focus their time and resources on advancing their specific machine learning objectives - all while continuing to deliver next-generation machine learning-driven products and services for our customers.

What You'll Do:
- Be part of a team working together to design, architect, and then deliver a solution around enabling seamless mobility of our users across sets of back-end infrastructure.
- Work to build abstractions on top of back-end Kubernetes based systems so as to remove complexity of moving users of our multi-tenant machine learning platforms across different systems.
- Share your passion for staying on top of tech trends, experimenting with and learning new technologies, participating in internal & external technology communities, mentoring other members of the engineering community, and from time to time, be asked to code or evaluate code
- Collaborate with digital product managers, and deliver robust cloud-based solutions that drive powerful experiences to help millions of customers achieve financial empowerment
- Utilize programming languages like Go and Python as well as AWS services such as EKS, the various EC2 and networking based services, RDS, DynamoDB, EFS and S3, plus various data platforms.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- At least 4 years of experience
- At least 2 years of experience with AWS
- At least 1 year of experience with containerization technologies (Kubernetes, Docker)
- At least 1 year of experience in Agile practices
Preferred Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in software engineering.
- 1+ years of experience specifically with Python or Golang
- 2+ years of experience with AWS
- 1+ years of experience with Kubernetes and Docker
