Operations Production Associate, Cash Monitoring & Support (Hybrid)

As an associate on the Cash Monitoring and Support team, you will be responsible for researching and understanding cash transactions, policies, procedures, and operations for ATMs. You will be collaborating with peers and leadership to support the value chain to ensure optimal cash levels and performance of the forecasting tools. As a member of this team, you will also provide immediate support during unscheduled events, such as weather, to ensure continuity in cash flow. This role will also require in-depth analysis of cash trends and outliers to ensure uninterrupted cash availability to our customers.

Job Level: Associate (Non-Exempt)

Responsibilities of this role may include:

  • Have an understanding of cash transactions as it relates to ATMs
  • Utilize analytical tools and proprietary software, including spreadsheets & databases to establish and maintain proper cash levels
  • Identify cash load or schedule opportunities
  • Partner with Vault vendors and ATM stakeholders to seek continuous improvements
  • Produce reports, graphs, and analysis illustrating trends and variances
  • Analyze and report trends, outages, outliers, and shifts in cash/schedule needs
  • Analyze and identify schedule updates needed due to holidays
  • Provide support with recovery efforts due to unplanned events (i.e. Weather)
  • Provide support and/or take lead on process improvement projects & updating documentation
  • Gather and present monthly team metrics and provide reports to leadership that identifies trends, performance, cash position and areas of improvement

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
  • At least 3 years of Customer Service or Call Center experience
  • At least 3 years experience working in the Financial Industry
  • At least 1 year experience using Google Suite or Microsoft Office

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Military experience
  • Process certifications (i.e. LEAN, Six Sigma, Business Process Management)

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

McLean, VA: $71,200 - $81,300 for Ops Prod Associate

Richmond, VA: $64,700 - $73,900 for Ops Prod Associate

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter.

This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
