As the Trust Administrative Associate, you will work independently on standardized/recurring administrative and operational assignments under the supervision of a Trust Officer or Trust Relationship Specialist. You may work with more senior staff on complex projects, analyses and tasks. You will be responsible for providing operational and administrative support to Trust Officers within Private Client Services (PCS) Trust and Estate team. You will work with the Trust Team and internal departments to complete operational transactions, answer service requests and meet the needs of PCS Trust clients.

  • Provide account administration and operational support for trust accounts
  • Document, verify and correspond with clients on all aspects of cash processing requests
    • Prepare workflows for cash transfers, wires, checks or ACH disbursements
    • Calculate and audit available cash balances in accounting systems


  • Open, maintain, and terminate client accounts
  • Initiate activities on trust accounts under the direction of a Trust Officer
  • Draft correspondence and independently communicate with clients to confirm details of account transactions. Partner with internal departments to identify and resolve complications with client and account activity
  • Participate in department and team meetings
  • May participate in client meetings with a Trust Officer and Private Wealth Advisor to discuss client activity
  • Organize internal follow-ups to streamline communication with the client
  • Research and resolve client queries including, but not limited to, online statement access, website support, address changes, and name changes
  • Daily telephone and email communication with the custodian, Private Wealth Advisors and their local relationship teams, client's advisors, third-party providers and clients
  • Work with the Trust Officer to ensure transactions are administered in line with ongoing trust provisions. May assist in the review of trust documents and other legal documents, including wills, codicils, life insurance policies, and partnership agreements:
  • Facilitate the execution of ongoing trust provisions
  • Establish and maintain recurring income and/or principal cash distributions
  • Work with the Special Asset Officer on the set-up and administration of special assets
  • Responsible for maintaining transaction and account records which may include scanning, indexing, file retrieval and preparation of documents for file purposes
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned

Reno Base Salary Range: $51,184-$81,894

In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital's annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
