As a Technology Engineer Under limited supervision, you will play in a leadership role in ensuring the stability, integrity, and smooth operation of information technology systems that support CG's business functions. You will be responsible for performing or leading in all phases of the product engineering and operation lifecycle. This includes research/strategize, requirements/planning, building/testing, and Run/Support. Provides expert-level assistance in operational functions by applying proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate, and resolve complex issues to minimize outages to critical business functions and maximize the benefit of IT systems investments. May also be expected to provide guidance and mentoring to less experienced engineers.

Role Description

  • You participate in the strategy research and planning efforts within the domain.
  • You research external trends increase awareness of evolving industry and technology their peers.
  • You will participate in research of internal improvement opportunities for process re-engineering automation within the domain.
  • You ensure and up to date understanding of CG businesses and the role the specific technology plays to support underlying business functions.
  • You ensures up to date understanding of CG technology strategies and roadmaps.
  • You are a primary team member and may lead solution initiatives utilizing all aspects of the solution life cycle.
  • You will be responsible for management and feature prioritization of the product/solution.
  • You contribute to or may lead functional and non-functional requirements analysis

  • You have at least 5 years of software engineering experience, being part of a team building applications using any of the following: .Net, Java, Python, PowerShell or similar technologies.
  • You can design and implement RESTful APIs using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and Azure Functions
  • You develop and maintain data storage solutions using AWS S3, DynamoDB, RDS, Azure Storage, or similar technologies.
  • You preferable have experience with data visualization/data manipulation tools like Tableau, Microsoft PowerBI, Alteryx, etc
  • You apply best practices for cloud security, performance, and reliability.
  • You can troubleshoot and resolve issues with the cloud infrastructure and applications.
  • You can write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
  • You will participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes.
  • You stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in cloud computing.
  • You Drive solution design and build execution.
  • You drive test planning and test execution.
  • You demonstrate knowledge of CG's software development lifecycle approaches and technologies a plus.
  • You can deal with ambiguity, manage complexity & drive for results, ultimately taking end-to-end ownership of the outcome.
  • You have familiarity with electronic communication archiving and surveillance a plus.

Southern California Base Salary Range: $111,404-$178,246

In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital's annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
