Solutions Engineer III
Under limited supervision, you will collaborate with business, development, and architecture teams to define and execute test strategies for complex projects and products. You will be part of a cross-functional team, focusing on analyzing requirements and tests, identifying test environment and data needs, contributing to technical discussions, and working across multiple technology platforms. Critical thinking, collaboration, proactivity, data analysis, and problem-solving skills are essential.
You will lead testing projects, including end-to-end integration efforts. You will provide thought leadership and demonstrate a deep understanding of supported business and technical capabilities by applying industry trends, tools, and solutions to solve business problems. Primary responsibilities/essential functions:
Technology Leadership, End-to-End Solution Ownership
- Under limited supervision, leads and personally contributes to solution delivery through SDLC activities (analysis, development, testing, deployment, support, etc.) for one or more business capabilities and/or products.
- In collaboration with more senior associates from Testing COE, develop and drives execution of test strategy and approach for multiple programs and releases.
- Demonstrates a strong understanding of supported business capabilities and builds partnerships with one or more business and technology teams to collaborate and influence.
- Acts as a local liaison for the Testing COE, providing support to drive the adoption of testing best practices, tooling, and reporting.
- Follows departmental, Testing COE and ITG-wide standards, methodologies and frameworks. Provides input to Testing COE and actively participates in the formation of new processes and practices.
- Proactively identifies options, analyzes pros and cons and assists in making recommendations to stakeholders.
- Proactively identifies and communicates issues, risks, progress to business and IT stakeholders, providing options and next steps.
- Frequently leads planning, estimation and work break down activities on projects.
- Takes responsibility for product quality and demonstrates commitment to quality in all aspects of delivery.
- Coordinates with application support teams during the solution development and testing. Supports testing the E2E solution, across various systems and technologies (functional, data, integration etc.).
- Is a continuous learner who seeks out stretch opportunities to build new technical skills and expand business acumen.

Business Integration
- Integrates with the business and leverages technology solutions to amplify the capabilities of CG and those of our associates.
- Demonstrates a very good understanding of related business area and how it connects to broader CG business. Contributes to product strategy and roadmap.
- Partners with business to gather requirements through understanding of business users' needs and challenges.
- Accountable for business outcomes through shared business result ownership.
Performs additional responsibilities as assigned.
Role requirements:
- You have a bachelor's degree in a related field (preferred) or equivalent experience.
- You have a minimum of 6+ years of work experience in development and/or testing.
- You have hands-on experience in Capital Markets with exposure to the investment management domain.
- You have a solid understanding of software testing concepts and industry trends.
- You have good comprehension and working experience with various technologies, including cloud and integration platforms.
- You possess strong leadership, teamwork, and communication skills
In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital's annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
