Solutions Engineer II - Back Office - Regulatory

Under general supervision, responsible for end-to-end solution delivery for multiple features within a product and/or full scope of the product. Builds strong business partnerships using consultative approaches to understand business users' needs and challenges. Demonstrates leadership through creative thinking, asking challenging questions, and analyzing risks. May mentor more junior associates.

Primary responsibilities/essential functions:

Technology Leadership, End-to-End Solution Ownership, Strategy

  • Under general supervision by more senior associates, personally contributes to solution delivery through SDLC activities (analysis, development, testing, deployment, support, etc.) for multiple features within a product and/or full scope of the product.
  • Collaborates with internal technology, vendor and business partners to deliver solutions.
  • Demonstrates solid understanding of business needs, and understands the strategy, vision and business usage of assigned features and/or products.
  • Demonstrates and possesses good understanding of all solution components and how they interoperate.
  • Demonstrates a good understanding of SDLC and applies it.
  • Proactively learns and applies best practices/standards.
  • Demonstrates innovation by challenging current thinking and bringing on new ideas.
  • Creates relevant artifacts as per SDLC/established methodology, with alignment to IT standards, procedures and policies.
  • Responsible for quality of a specific business capability within a domain by leveraging established testing processes and metrics
  • Responsible for the supportability of the resulting solution.
  • Contributes to planning efforts for assigned set of features.
  • Is a continuous learner who builds new technical skills and stronger business acumen through experiences.

Business Integration

  • Integrates with the business and leverages technology solutions to amplify the capabilities of CG and those of our associates.
  • Demonstrates a good understanding of related business area and how it connects to broader CG business.
  • Accountable for business outcomes related to assigned work by partnering with business counterparts.
  • May influence business roadmap based on business outcomes on items of smaller scope.
  • Leads discussions with business users to identify requirements and translate them into solution design.

Performs additional responsibilities as assigned.

In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital's annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
