As a Senior Product Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting the growth of the existing product portfolio and recommending product changes, new products and services in support of broader strategic business objectives. You will ensure products and offering components are appropriately positioned and the product strategy is effectively executed. You'll play a critical role in the continual support and improvements of the existing product portfolio, including product changes and new product launches/services, in support of broad strategic business objectives.

  • You will support day-to-day management of the individual product or products. You will serve as a subject matter expert and consult with a variety of internal groups (e.g., sales, service, and marketing) regarding product inquiries and enhancement requests.
  • You will consider client perspective, as well as product construction and pricing, operational policies, service model and sales/marketing approach, to identify issues, options, and/or desired outcomes and recommend appropriate solutions or approach.
  • You have the ability to guide business partners through complex issues and advise on standard and best practices.
  • You will participate in regular forums to understand customer and market feedback; incorporate feedback into ideas and solutions related to product offering.
  • You might interface with advisors or other intermediaries when deeper expertise of product capabilities is required.
  • You will participates in projects and assigned business initiatives impacting a product line. You can provide input to project manager(s) throughout the lifecycle of the project.
  • You have experience in developing PowerPoint presentations and delivering presentations to internal and external parties.
  • You have experience in research and can analyze data used to assess key product performance metrics against goals and objectives; incorporate customer input and market trends.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of financial services in industry experience
  • Strong technical and analytical skills in areas around product, pricing and service/distribution model - or with the ability to develop recommendations and support assertions with relevant quantitative and qualitative data.
  • Bachelor's degree strongly preferred, MBA or CFA a plus

Location: LAO, IRV, SNO or IND

Southern California Base Salary Range: $116,974-$187,158

San Antonio Base Salary Range: $96,162-$153,859

Indianapolis Base Salary Range: $102,428-$163,885

In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital's annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
