A Generative AI Engineer in Microsoft 365 security plays a cross functional leadership role in ensuring the stability, integrity, and secure operation of information technology systems that support Capital Group's business functions. Configures and maintains all Microsoft 365 platform compliance capabilities including SharePoint, OneDrive, Exchange, Teams, Copilot Security, Copilot Admin, and others. They are a point of escalation for complex and difficult electronic communication compliance issues and applying expert level technical and analytical abilities to identify, communicate, and resolve complex issues to minimize impact on critical business functions and maximize the benefit of IT systems investments. They also provide guidance and mentoring to less senior engineers. Substantial Microsoft platform knowledge and security process/governance are a fundamental requirement for this role.

  • You have at least 10 years of Microsoft infrastructure engineering experience, being part of a team responsible for SharePoint, Exchange, Teams, and other Microsoft 365 offerings.
  • You have experience with electronic communication compliance capture to meet FINRA and SEC regulations in the financial industry.
  • You are knowledgeable of AI/ML regulatory requirements and stay updated with the latest trend and decisions across various financial regulatory entities.
  • You preferably have experience with AI/ML capabilities, specifically with Copilot M365, Copilot Studio, and Copilot Web.
  • You stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in Microsoft 365 and AI/ML.
  • You can deal with ambiguity, manage complexity, and drive for results; ultimately, taking end-to-end ownership of the outcome.
  • You can mentor, coach, and partner with other engineers
  • You maintain ultimate levels of trust and integrity with administrative roles and execution.
  • You exercise sound judgement in the configuration and advancement of the Microsoft 365 platform.
  • You apply best practices for security, performance, and reliability.
  • You troubleshoot and resolve issues with the Microsoft 365 infrastructure and applications.

Southern California Base Salary Range: $148,045-$236,872

In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital's annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
