Role summary: Works independently on publishing/reporting assignments to support sales activities/ client servicing for both institutional and retail business. Responsible for producing Marketing/presentation materials and client reports, such as New Business Books (NBB), Quarterly Investment Reports (QIR), Retail Fund Brochures, Monthly Factsheets and other customized requests from sales team and/or clients.

Also, works on contents creation for parts of the above materials/reports, complex projects and other ad-hoc tasks under the supervision of more experienced associates.

Primary responsibilities/essential functions:

  • Produces marketing/presentation materials and client reports
    • Prepares Quarterly Investment Reports/customized client reports for client review meetings for existing institutional accounts.
    • Creates and/or updates Japanese New Business Books, IB Monthly Factsheets and other marketing materials to pitch focused strategies for prospects of institutional investors and consultants. Makes English New Business Books be legitimate for Japanese institutional investors.
    • Revises Retail Fund Brochures and advisor training materials for distributors. Coordinates printing of the materials with outside designers and printing companies.
    • Updates Retail Monthly Factsheets and quarterly/semi-annual reports for public funds.
    • Creates presentation materials for RFPs and due diligence requests.
    • Gathers data and information for materials/reports from various data sources/applications.
    • Reviews materials/reports for accuracy/legitimacy of contents and ensures fiducially responsibility.
    • Plans, manages and adheres production schedules to deliver/publish materials/reports.
    • Applies the corporate branding guidelines for materials/reports.
    • Creates parts of contents in New Business Books, Retail Fund Brochures, advisor training materials and other bespoke presentations.
  • Manages internal stakeholders as the owner of marketing materials/client reports

  • Arranges data/information/commentaries required for materials/reports with other teams within/outside of the Tokyo office.
  • Confirms and/or discusses contents of materials/reports with Sales team and other internal stakeholders.
  • Consults with Legal & Compliance to adhere local regulations and corporate's policy.
  • Works with IT to solve any issues in applications to publish materials/reports and to develop/enhance applications.
  • Participates, as a team representative, in conference calls with Publishing teams in other offices.

Performs additional tasks/responsibilities as assigned.

In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital's annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
