As an Internal Retirement Plan Relationship Manager, you enjoy providing dedicated, customized plan consultation and relationship management for our Priority-level plans on Capital Group's retirement platforms. You will educate plan sponsors, advisors, and consultants; analyze plan details (i.e., feature utilization, size), coordinate with internal contacts (e.g., North American Client Group and other Retirement Plan Service business units), and identify opportunities to increase assets, participation and plan retention.

  • You have 5+ years of in-depth retirement plan market knowledge, including retirement plan design, terminology, regulations and procedures.
  • You develop and deliver multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences, including delivering effective, influential presentations
  • You enjoy staying informed of the company's products and services, policies and procedures and applicable regulations and legal requirements.
  • You make sense of complex, high quantity, and sometimes contradictory information to effectively solve problems and recommend solutions.
  • You enjoy building partnerships and cultivating relationships to work collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives.
  • You must obtain your Qualified 401(k) Administrator/QKA within 12 months of the role.

Southern California Base Salary Range: $96,120-$153,792

San Antonio Base Salary Range: $79,019-$126,430

Indianapolis Base Salary Range: $84,168-$134,669

In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital's annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
