As Head of Asset Class Services, you will play a pivotal role in connecting Capital Group's investment capabilities with evolving client needs across institutional and wealth channels. You will lead a team of Investment Directors and serve as a strategic partner to the Investment Group, helping shape and communicate our investment narratives, governance, and value proposition. This role requires a visionary leader with deep investment acumen, a client-first mindset, and the ability to simplify complex ideas into compelling, actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a strategic connector between Capital Groups' investors and clients, serving as a key translator of client needs and investment capabilities.
- Facilitate a healthy ecosystem of engagement to meet client needs, by co-leading governance and operating forums focused on investment capability evolution and market volatility response, ensuring alignment with client needs and strategic priorities.
- Develop, refine and evolve Capital Group's broad investment narratives - including our investment process (the Capital System) and risk/performance frameworks - tailored to institutional and wealth audiences.
- Lead the creation of client-centric messaging that distills complex investment concepts across asset classes into clear, accessible language, and ensure these messages are effectively delivered to Capital Groups' salesforce and our clients.
- Drive cross-asset class integration in investment strategy and communication, ensuring consistency and relevance across the platform.
- Leverage deep understanding of institutional and wealth clients to inform product positioning, commercialization strategy, and client engagement.
- Champion innovation in investment storytelling and capability development, identifying opportunities to enhance Capital Group's value proposition.
- Build and lead a high-performing team of Investment Directors, fostering a culture of collaboration, excellence, and strategic execution.

- You have a Bachelor's degree; an advanced degree (MBA, CFA, or equivalent) is strongly preferred.
- You have a minimum of 12-15 years of experience in asset management, investment consulting, or related fields.
- You have a proven track record in investment services, product strategy, or client engagement across institutional and wealth channels.
- Investment Acumen
- You have a deep understanding of investment concepts across asset classes (equities, fixed income, multi-asset, alternatives).
- You have the ability to translate complex investment strategies into clear, compelling narratives for diverse audiences.

Southern California Base Salary Range: $295,000-$335,000
San Francisco Base Salary Range: $295,000-$335,000
New York Base Salary Range: $295,000-$335,000
In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital's annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
