Genesys Solutions Engineer level III

As a Genesys Solutions Engineer III, you will play an important role in developing technical solutions using the Genesys product suite in support of business initiatives. You will analyze business requirements, design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain contact center solutions, to ensure these solutions support current and future business needs of American Funds.

You will collaborate with other developers and the architecture group to deliver integrated solutions. You will own and lead the cloud migration and transformation of customer experience.

  • You have a bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or other technical field; or have equivalent work experience.
  • You have a minimum of 6 years of engineering experience, with at least 5 years working with the Genesys Engage Contact Center application including IVR, call recording, telephony, Voice, eServices, call routing (IWD), NLU, reporting and associated technologies.
  • You have at least 3 years of experience with Genesys Cloud and expertise in migrating customers from on-premise to cloud.
  • You have at least 5 years of experience leading large scale application development efforts that integrate with complementary services.
  • You have proven hands-on expertise and development with the following technologies: C#, Java, Web Services (RESTful, SOAP, etc.), SQL Server.
  • You've had previous experience with Cloud architectures (preferably AWS).
  • You've demonstrated the ability to scope & size technology solutions within relevant business constraints (e.g., time to market, cost, etc.).
  • You adapt programming literacy to match the shifting demands of different outcomes and technologies.
  • You have a passion for driving change and innovation. You introduce innovative ideas that push boundaries and challenge our culture when needed.

Southern California Base Salary Range: $131,596-$210,554

San Antonio Base Salary Range: $108,182-$173,091

In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital's annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
