As a Facilities Engineering and Operations Senior Manager you demonstrate deep expertise in your assigned domain and are a seasoned leader. You provide strategic direction and project oversight for critical infrastructure and operational support across the Global Engineering team, local site engineering teams, and Site Services & Operations (SS&O) teams at all 32 Capital locations in 14 countries.

You will collaborate with Global Real Estate and SS&O teams to develop long-term capital plans for owned assets. Additionally, you drive the creation and execution of strategic maintenance programs, with a strong focus on sustainability and operational efficiency. You are also responsible for shaping the strategic vision for MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) systems across Capital, ensuring they support both current operations and future growth.

  • You have a minimum 10 years of leading engineering teams and functions in Class A office buildings, including high rise as well as Critical Environments; Certified Chief Engineer or equivalent is desired
  • You have extensive experience leading/managing Global teams that are responsible for maintaining Class A facilities and providing support services that are critical for a large complex global organization
  • You have deep experience in facility management, financial budgeting, business continuity, vendor management and building mechanical systems
  • You will be responsible for ensuring the proper maintenance of all critical equipment across CG's global locations. This includes understanding regional operational differences, as well as how IT infrastructure integrates with building systems in each country.
  • You design and maintain a team structure that supports evolving operating models and business needs.
  • You are comfortable navigating a highly collaborative corporate environment and balancing multiple stakeholders and groups to accomplish a goal.
  • You're a proven leader and skilled communicator. You place high value on being authentic, respectful and engaging. You've facilitated a variety of successful meetings ranging in size, with diverse audiences.

Working conditions:

  • This role may require crawling in confined spaces and working extended hours during emergency situations and system commissioning
  • Work is sometimes performed outside of normal business hours; urgent response issues may require a 24-hr on-call commitment as needed
  • This role requires domestic and international travel up to 50% of the time; at times, travel may increase due to project requirements
  • Demonstrates ability to regularly lift 50 pounds and occasionally lift up to 75 pounds

Indianapolis Base Salary Range: $163,892-$278,616

In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital's annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
