Country Marketing Associate

Role Summary:

Country Marketing Associate (CMA) will be providing support to the local Country Marketing Manager on executing the marketing strategy to accomplish annual/long-term marketing and business goals and markedly improve our Japan/Korea institutional and retail (financial intermediary) client experience.

Primary Responsibilities:

As the CMA, the individual will:

• Plan, schedule and deploy specific elements of the marketing toolkit for the local market: regular client email communications, web page updates, Sales to Client collateral, and localize the toolkit when needed.

• Plan and execute on agreed local marketing tactics that have been identified to support the local business and marketing plans. These include but are not limited to: execution of events/webinars, marketing collateral, Brand Campaign, product/long-term investment campaigns.

Ÿ Build and manage the lead generation campaigns in Exact Target and Salesforce, report on the progression of leads, and work to continuously improve marketing effectiveness.

• Collaborate with the EACG PR team/PR agency as necessary to share information regarding marketing measures and cooperate with each other in each work.

• Provide support on the delivery of a cohesive marketing strategy across all client touch points in the local market. These include but are not limited to advertising, content, events, digital and marketing toolkit.

• Understand the local customer/client journey to select, and invest in Capital Group products and services, and incorporating client needs into marketing tactics.

• Collaborate with other EACG marketing teams to share best practice regarding strategic plans for our marketing channels (advertising, digital, events, content) and functions (brand, design, content).

• Develop and implement digital tactics as part of the regional marketing strategy, which include but is not limited to web, email, social, SEO, SEM, advertising, content, automation and analytics and insights.

• Tracking of predefined and agreed local program metrics with our Insights and Analytics team, including lead generation activities.

• Collaborate with the EACG PR team/PR agency as necessary to share information regarding marketing measures and cooperate with each other in each work.

Skills & Experience:

• 2-5 years plus marketing experience of working for financial institutions (e.g. asset management, securities brokerage firm, insurance, etc.) in Japan is preferable.

• 4-6 years of assistant marketing or brand management for a consumer product firms (e.g. assistant brand /marketing manager)

• Comfortable working with a broad variety of stakeholders,

• Ability to manage through ambiguity and in a fast-moving environment.

• Strong skills and knowledge across the full marketing mix including:

- Modern client experience and marketing factors (digital, mobile, social, and data/analytics).

- Events - experience with planning, budgeting for and project managing events

- Advertising - digital, social, programmatic, print

• Strong written and oral communication skills-Japanese (native). English written and oral language ability is a must.

In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital's annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
