As a Technology, Infosec and Privacy Compliance Lead, you will partner closely with legal, business areas, Technology, InfoSec, Global Privacy Office and other stakeholders to implement policies and procedures in support of meeting regulatory obligations relating to Capital Group's Technology, InfoSec, Privacy and Resiliency programs. You will be responsible for understanding the applicable global regulatory environment and working with stakeholders to assess, implement and meet compliance obligations. This includes demonstrating in-depth knowledge of relevant business areas and working with a team of associates responsible for a variety of time-sensitive regulatory filings and assessment activities.

You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and reviewing documents, measures, and training material, in addition to assisting with exams and audits, analyzing issues, and implementing solutions. To thrive in this role, you must be a self-starter with excellent communication and time management skills, attention to detail and possess strong analytical and reporting skills.

  • Demonstrates expert knowledge of regulatory compliance standards and frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR, CCPA, PIPL etc. Exhibits knowledge in current and possible future policies, practices, trends, technology and information affecting the department/business area and overall organization.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Technology compliance, or related fields.
  • Ideally has previous experience in asset management or financial services.
  • Has a bachelor's degree in computer science, information security, data privacy or a related field.
  • Ideally has a JD, master's degree or relevant certifications in one or more of the following: CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CIPP/e, CIPM, CIPT, CDPP.
  • Demonstrates ability to plan processes, projects and work across broad, diverse groups to assure work is completed in a timely manner.

    • Demonstrates ability to informally lead, train, and mentor more junior associates.
    • Demonstrates ability to effectively plan and manage the work of others.
    • Demonstrates ability to lead and manage projects across multiple teams or groups including documenting milestones and proactively providing updates to leaders/stakeholders. Allocates resources efficiently within team while also considering contingencies across teams should obstacles arise.

In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital's annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
