Why do we need you? Well, we are looking for a Senior Lifecycle Business Analyst who will bring dashboard/report building experience and audience analysis to address both technical and non-technical audience members. You will work with the Head of Marketing Operations & Analytics and will be responsible for evaluating our email database & operations, identifying gaps and opportunities, analyzing, and recommending solutions that enable our Lifecycle Team to efficiently grow our business.

A day in the life of a Senior Lifecycle Business Analyst at Calendly

You will use your extensive knowledge of email marketing to help analyze our database. You will use your wealth of experience in data and analytics, to solve complex questions with data, and provide support to business owners on experimentation, data collection, and analysis. In addition, your expertise in creating business-facing reports & dashboards and your insights will be instrumental in driving our experimentation and A/B testing initiatives, as well as leading the reporting and analysis for our email database.

On a typical day, you will be working on:

  • Building, modifying, and analyzing reports on customer and prospect behavior in Calendly's email channel
  • Co-leading data driven projects-with expectation of advancement into full management of projects/areas of expertise
  • Partnering with leadership to understand customer behavior within our email databases, define success metrics and identify areas for optimization
  • Dashboarding and reporting; build and maintain all reporting and dashboarding for our different email database; become an authority on our email marketing database(s)
  • Accountable for the timely execution of data analysis to meet the email deployment dates for each key email marketing campaigns

What do we need from you?

  • 3-5 years working experience within a role focused on analytics or data science; ideally with experience in database marketing and/or direct marketing
  • Experience with quantitative analysis and/or statistics; experience with business intelligence query tools
  • Ability to summarize detailed data into a useful recommendation for audiences of varying backgrounds
  • Ability to toggle between the technical and business perspectives and experience interfacing across technical teams and non-technical partners
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL and relational databases and data analysis/visualization tools (i.e. Tableau, Mode); experience with statistical analysis techniques would be a bonus
  • A steadfast curiosity for user behavior, insights and opportunities identified through data
  • Strong presentation and data storytelling skills
  • Bonus points if you have experience with cohort audiences, testing strategies and experimentation
  • Authorized to work lawfully in the United States of America as Calendly does not engage in immigration sponsorship at this time
